Diagnostic Photo Guide

• Profile Photos: All profile photos should meet the following requirements:
  • No head coverings*
  • No glasses or big earrings
  • Long hair pulled back
  • Solid background
    *religious coverings exempt
• Arch Photos: All arch photos should meet the following requirements:
  • Occlusal surfaces of all teeth
  • No tongue/saliva covering teeth
  • Lip pulled away from incisors
  • All teeth are well-lit
• Bite Photos: All bite photos should meet the following requirements:
  • Bite centered in frame
  • Biting in centric occlusion
  • Consistent bite in all 3 photos
  • All teeth are well-lit

Diagnostic Scan Guide

• We recommend preparing before the scan begins:
  • Dry the teeth before scanning
  • Ensure the scan tip/camera is clear
  • Know your scan strategy
  • Retract lips & cheeks
