Case Creation
The case creation flow is separated into three easy sections:
1. Basic Info
You can start filling out the information for a new case, exit, and finish later. Additionally, your progress will be auto-saved as you continue the case submission flow.
Begin by completing your patient's basic information:
Once you have completed the Basic Info, you may either continue to Diagnostic Materials or return to all case tasks, saving your progress thus far.
- Returning to all case tasks will allow you to upload your diagnostic materials or complete the treatment goals for this specific case.
2. Diagnostic Materials
You will initially be prompted to add your patient's photos. Please note you may upload the diagnostics in any convenient order, and progress will be saved automatically as you go.
Add photos to the array and click the "Next material" button.
- See what is expected from your photos from our Diagnostic Photo & Scan Guide article.
Upload .STL files directly from your computer.
Upload your .jpeg or .png formatted x-ray file(s) here, ensuring they were taken within the last year and are up-to-date. X-rays from an initial case may be used in refinement cases if no new x-ray is taken.
3. Treatment Goals

Resubmitting Rejected Materials
Should treatment planners find any mismatch or inconsistencies between the photos and the scans or X-rays submitted, either the photos or scans will be rejected so that they can be replaced with corrected or updated photos. The photos can be replaced directly from your provider portal and in the same patient page, so that new scans and X-rays will not be necessary.
If the scans are rejected, but the photos need editing, simply replace the photos with the edit button, and re-upload your STLs.
To submit or edit rejected photos:
- Navigate to your provider portal and to the patient page in need of new materials. Locate the material rejection notice and click "Resubmit".
- Click the "Photos" tab above and then the "Edit" button.
- Edit or replace the designated photos.
- Click into the "Scans" tab and upload the same STLs as before.
- Complete the submission.
